Mostly because I was going blind into sharper corners. I tried the FOV as taught and I did horribly on hitting any apex. If you adjust your FOV to what's being suggested on a single monitor, you're killing your peripheral vision within the sim. But, that last one is next to impossible to simulate percent accurately, even on a motion sim rig.īut, if you don't have a motion rig, 3D ready displays and a triple screen setup, then that only leaves a single monitor for FOV and peripheral vision. I know that's against what's being taught in FOV topics but a major part of how we drive and function in the real world is also peripheral vision and 3D depth perception.Īlso, one other is info being sent to our brain from our nervous system concerning g-forces and balance. I disagree though that this is ideal for single monitor users. Home Discussions Workshop Market Broadcasts.
